Staining, Halitosis and Dry Mouth in a Hotel CEO: ADC OSCE practice station

An ADC-style practice station on OSCE Coach. Practice, not real, past or recalled exam content.

What the candidate is told

Ms Kim, 28, CEO of a 4-star hotel, attends today mainly concerned about the appearance of her teeth — she has noticed staining on her upper right first molar (16) and is worried given her client-facing role. She also reports bad breath and dry mouth, and uses chlorhexidine mouthwash. She is medically fit and healthy, currently taking Lexapro for anxiety. On examination, tooth 16 shows a dark line along the occlusal groove and black staining on the palatal surface. Task: gather information, discuss necessary investigations, and address the patient's concerns.
